tai chi for rehabilitation level ii

What's it About?

TCR II builds on knowledge acquired in TCR I. TCR II provides an in depth understanding of Tai Chi principles as they apply to therapeutic application and benefit. A higher level of Tai Chi principles of movement will be introduced.

These include

  • Master William Ting’s “24 postural musts”
  • Postural alignment
  • Weight transference
  • Contralateral movement and connections
  • Movement around center of gravity
  • Body mechanics as they relate to specific movements

Participants will be taught how to apply these concepts for improved ROM, reducing pain, fall reduction, and improving strength and balance.
